the essence

There's this car with the bed of a truck (you know one of those weird old looking things) that's been parked out in front of our apartment building since we moved in last May. I've never seen it moved from the same space!!! It's had a for sale sign in it the whole time too. I just went out to my car to get the Pepsi's out (to go with our pizza for dinner) & THE WEIRD CAR WAS GONE!!! Now, not only had this car been parked in the same place the whole time but it was also in the best parking space out there, right at the sidewalk. So, even though I only went out to get the Pepsi's, I promptly got in my car & moved in to that space. Childish? Maybe. But now the space is mine...at least until I leave in the morning anyway. ;)
