the essence

Today was nice. My friend Erin came over for lunch & we spent the day together. She's the only one over here in Tampa that I've really "bonded" with since moving here. She's lived here her whole life but only recently started going to this assembly (because that's where her boyfriend goes) & she's in the same place I am as far as friends go. We both can't wait for Rachel & Conrad to get married so we'll have another girl over here that we love. :)

We ate lunch & talked & talked & talked. Then we went to Victoria's Secret for their HUGE semi-annual clearance sale (I try not to let myself buy anything from there unless this sale is going on). I found anew bra (yea!!!) & some undies. The nice thing is I still have about $50 left of Christmas money. :) Then, we decided we didn't really feel like looking at anything else in the mall & we started to hear out. But, uh-oh!, there was Pottery Barn, by far one of my favorite stores. I'm not sure how long we were in there, but they have some of the best stuff!

After leaving the mall we headed to good old HCC to figure some school stuff out. I prionted an unofficial copy of my transcript to fax to USF & then we went & got the ISB numbers off of the books we need for next semester so that we can find them cheaper on amazon.com

On our way back to my place I found out she likes coffee so we made a pit stop for some Starbucks & got back to my place where she was showing me her wedding ideas on the computer. Although she's not engaged yet it's just a matter of time (as it seems to be for so many of my friends...I'm SO glad those days are over for me).

It was lots of fun & tonight we have youth group. I'm just waiting for Ray to get home now.
