the essence

Last night we went to the Strawberry Festival. Ray & I went with his grandmother (Jeanie), mom (Trish), his mom's fiance (Mike) & his son (Scott). It was lots of fun & we were there for a few hours. It went by really fast though! We did the "make your own shortcake" & that wa good & after walking around for a little bit I bought a funnel cake. There's a bunch of rides there too & Mike wanted to ride some but the problem is the only other person there who likes to ride those things is me...so I agreed to go on the zipper with him. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the best rides, I was just nervous because of all of that food I'd just eaten! Thanksfully everything was fine & on our way out I bought some kettle corn. Yummy! So, bascially all we did was walk (a lot!) eat, & ride a few rides. I also pet a sheep & it was really soft (but dirty!). While we were driving home there were tons of police cars (I'd say around 15) on both sides of the median alson I-4 & when we drove by there was a white sheet covering up a person. The car looked like it was messed up really bad too. It was weird though, because I'd never seen a dead person covered up along the side of the road before & you know they probably didn't even see that coming.

Anyway, It's almost time for church so I'd better get ready.
