I'm SO exhausted. Two mornings in a row I've woken up around 5 a.m. in order to get work done on my presentation. This morning I had the presentation & I left our place at 6 to go make copies at Kinkos. I was supposed to meet my group at 7 so I got to school early (around 6:40) in order to go to the library & print some of the info I needed from the computer (our printer at home has no ink in it). Unfortunately, after I walked to the library I found out it doesn't even open until 7:30. So, I wandered around in vain looking for a computer lab that would be open at such an insane hour. Alas, there were none. So, I waited for my classmates who of course all had to get there late. I must say though, our presentation seemed to go very well & our professor said she really liked it.
I had a frappuccino today...I love those things. Ray wanted to meet me at Barnes & Noble during lunch & he was very proud of me for doing so well on my tests & just because he loves he bought me my favorite drink. :) (Hey, what can I say, I'm easily pleased?) While at B&N I found a children's book called "Walter, the Farting Dog". I made sure to show this to Ray as it seemed very appropriate for him.
He actually liked it & thought it would be so funny to get that as a coffee table book. Thankfully, he listened to his brilliant wife (that would be me) & he didn't buy it. :) I'm still trying to figure out why a parent would buy that for their child....
