the essence

What a relief...I walked out of statistics this morning approximately 2 hours ago...unfortunately I have to return for Stat 2 in the fall, but currently I can forget everything I've just learned over the past 4 months.

My exam this morning was in a large auditorium & as we walked in he had us file down the rows of seats. The tests were already laid out at the seats & we were squished next to each other. It was kind of odd because I have a class in this room & during tests the other professor always makes us sit one seat apart from each other. Do you ever feel funny when you have to sit that close to someone you don't know? Like on an airplane (unless your a fortunate one who can afford first-class), you sit two inches away from this complete stranger for several hours & you may never even speak to them. It's just an awkward feeling & you pray that the other person falls asleep so you don't have to worry about a confrontation with them. Or maybe its just me?

Anyway

I'm SO looking forward to my break, especially this weekend. Ray & I are planning on going up to Asheville, NC to celebrate our 1-year anniversary a little early (insane that it's already been a year, huh???). We're going to the Biltmore Estate again & I think this time we're going to buy year round passes & maybe go rafting while we're there. I hope we get to stay in a B&B too, those are so fun! :)

The youth rally went well this weekend & the kids had tons of fun. It was fun for me to watch/listen to them too because it reminded me how my friends & I used to act about camp. They were really giddy & on the way home they were just ECSTATIC about the next youth rally 5 months away. As it may be obvious the hyper kids were in my car-Ray got the kids who sang praise songs & talked about physics. :) Our team also took second place in the Bible quiz. It was their first time &, granted there were only three teams there, but they did really well! I was impressed.

Almost time for my lunch break-should I:
a. Stay here & work on the last of my school work for this semester
b. Go sleep in my car (I ddin't get much rest last night with my final this morning)
or
c. GO TO BARNES AND NOBLE
