the essence

Ah, wonderful coffee weather.

It's overcast & sprinkling outside & I don't have to be to work until 1:00! So, I'm sitting here drinking my starbucks coffee (I'm almost out!) & listening to the "You've Got Mail" soundtrack. I'm also making french fries for breakfast...Megan understands. :)

Although I could sit here all morning instead I'm going to g to the mall. I haven't been shopping in forever & some extra money came my way so I'm going to see if I can find anything. I'm in dire need of some new clothes & I'm hoping there will be some sales going on. :)

Ray told me yesterday that the high's up in NC right now are in the 60's. I'm going to freeze. Anything below 70 & I get cold. I don't now what it is. Maybe it's just the Florida sun bred in me now. I'm practically a native after all. No matter the temperature, I'm just SO incredibly excited about this weekend! Ray spoiled me after we got married & we went on a whole bunch of little trips (some not so little). Now, it's been over 4 months since we've gone anywhere & it feels like forever, lol. Not to mention our vacations are usually so fast paced that I'm looking forward to relaxing & just seeing things around town. I think it's going to be SO fun!!!!

School is pretty much over this semester for me now. I'm almost completely done with my project. I finished up what I could this morning but now I need to get some extra information & make a cover page while I'm at work/school. Man, I love being out of school.

Tonight I'm going to Val's (I think Jen M. will be there too) & we're going to work on wedding invitations. I can't believe she's making them & they're SO pretty. I'm really impressed with how well she's been planning everything...she's handing it much beter than I did. This week sounds the worse for her though because she's been athering addresses. That part is definitely not fun. The bad thing was I lost some of those addresses so when it came time to thank you notes I wrote them but, well, some are still sitting in our apartment! The shame! Now I'm so embarrassed about it I don't want to send them. I've gone to weddings & never received a thank you note for the gift, maybe it's not so bad.

Man, I love french fries. I'm finding out they don't relly go to well with coffee though.
