the essence

I love buying presents for people! I love wrapping them too, they look so pretty under the tree. I finally feel like I'm making some progress as far as who I have left to buy for.

I've also been making Christmas cards again this week. Ray wants to send them out to his clients & considering Christmas is in one week & one day they need to go out NOW. So do our personal Christmas cards. I so wish I didn't have to work.

I also got my Christmas bonus this week. I was shocked & thrilled. My camera just broke so we're thinking that maybe now we can replace it with a digital. Problem is we want at least a 4 MP & for a decent one those start to get more expensive.

I would love to finally be able to upload pictures onto here though. Since I don't have new pics up, here's a look at Christmas three years ago (the first Christmas I knew Ray).




And this has been our tradition for as long as I can remember. After decorating the tree, dad always put the star on top. Poor mom. She end up doing the decorating by herself now. :(
