the essence

I really really wish we had Internet at home! I keep thinking of these I want to check, things to post, work I could do, but nothing can be done till I get to work! And its just not that convenient. I tried picking up our neighbors' wireless signal but its password protected.

One nice thing...Ray & I have begun painting over the bright peach walls! Its turning out quite pretty too. Although I must say I'm not sure if I really knew how sore a muscle in your hand could get! I'll be glad to have everything painted & in its place.

Last night it suddenly popped into my head that Ray's birthday is only a little more than a month away! His 30th birthday. So, I have some secret planning to do (I hope he doesn't secretly read this & find out my plans!).

Big news: Jen & Gabe from church had their baby almost two weeks ago! Jen was full-term but the baby was SO tiny - 5 lbs 10 oz! I saw her Sunday, really cute & I couldn't believe how small she was. I'm a little jealous. :) Go here for some pictures.

I'm off for now. I have errands to run, painting to do, clothes to wash...you know the drill.
