I feel I've had a rather successful evening. I made lunch plans with Amy for tomorrow (I had invited her over but I'm going to her place instead), I called Val & talked to her for the first time in awhile, I called Ashley & congratulated her on her recent engagement, & I made plans for Randa to come over & hang out Saturday night while Ray is out of town.
Today I went out with Ray & one of his clients to look at a couple of houses. This client has been so grateful for all that Ray has done for their family, yesterday she even brought us home made muffins & this really nice thank you note. She's also pretty lonely as she doesn't know anyone here so I went along today. Her husband was at work but her two little girls were with her, ages 3 & 16 months.
I was trying to keep them occupied so that the Mom could talk with Ray & stuff, & keeping them occupied resulted in me somersaulting & cartwheeling across the floor. When the Mom walked in & saw me she pointed at me with this look of surprise. Of course later she asked me if I babysit.
I figure there's nothing wrong with acting a little like a kid when the time is appropriate. :)
