the essence

I've successfully made four batches of Christmas cookies so far & I used my Kitchen Aid for three of them. That thing is incredible! I've used one before but I didn't fully appreciate it until I used it as mine. Baking is SO much easier now! No tired arm from holding holding the mixer & wishing there was an even faster speed; no scraping the sides of the bowl over & over; no handmixing because the dough is too thick for my regular mixer. It's great!

Geannie's wedding is in about three hours. I can't believe it! I'm fully taking advantage of not being involved in this wedding. This is the first wedding I've been to in a long time when I wasn't a part of the wedding party or something so I'm going to take advantage & try to act just like a regular wedding guest. No stressing & running around like a mad woman.

I am wishing the weather were a little different. It's raining & around 56 degrees out so I'd much rather stay curled up inside at the moment. I can't complain though, it's not like I have a difficult day ahead of me.

And even though its really cold out I'm still going to wear my cute strapless dress because a little pain is worth the beauty. :) And hopefully the people who are in charge of the heater/ac at church will be smart enough to realize this is a day when the heat does need to be on.

I should really go, I have much to get done before the wedding & much that I probably WON'T get done before the wedding. :)
