the essence

We had a nice overcast day today. Hardly any rain & virtually no wind; I actually would have liked a bit more of a storm.

It was still nice coffee weather & I met up with Keith in Brandon & we had some Starbucks coffee (I also scored a free chocolate doughnut!!). He went along with me to Old Time Pottery as well, my initial rason for driving over to Brandon. I got their sales catalogue in the mail yesterday & they had some great sale items listed. Problem is, I didn't realize until after I drove over there that the sale doesn't start until tomorrow! Thankfully, the item I was looking for turned out to only be about $1.50 more not on sale so I bought it anyway (would have spent that much in gas just to drive back tomorrow).

I've had a roaring headache since this afternoon, I'm sure listening to two hours of piano students didn't help. :) I also made home made breadsticks & Disustingly Rich Brownies to go with our pizza dinner tonight. That brownie recipe was in a kids cookbook we had when we were little (I think Megan still has it). They were good & so much bigger than boxed brownies but I remember them tasting better when we were little.

I'm so tired now. I'm going to get ready for bed & mooch a back rub out of Ray.
