the essence

Our morning weather has been fabulous. I think this is the thrid morning in a row I've had the windows open. I LOVE it.

Ray's already off to work for the day (I'm going to have to get him to take days off once the baby gets here) so while it's still cool out I think I'm going to make coffee (of course!), put in some old Gilmore Girls reruns, eat some leftover apple pie that I made yesterday, & work on a project.

I'm out of scrapbooking stuff to do until I get prints done for the babies' scrapbook, so I think I'm going to work on shower invitations. Rach is throwing me a really fun sounding shower (a shower for me, not gifts for the baby) at my house & I volunteered to make the inviations. Maybe not the normal thing to do, but I'm supposed to take it easy & not be on my feet so much but that's BORING. So, at least I have a project to occupy some time. I also still have birth announcements to work on.

Let's hope it stays cool for the rest of the morning!
