the essence

Today is Ray's 31st birthday. Where does the time go? Of course I still take a bit of pleasure in giving him a hard time about his age, especially since I still have 8 more years to get there!

We're having his Mom & grandmother over for dinner (they were the only ones who could make it!) & I'm making a pot roast. So good & so easy. I'm also making, per Ray's request, a chocolate raspberry torte. He loves this thing, it is quite a delicious & rich dessert. But, if you make it, don't use cool whip, just make your on whipped cream. Trust me.

Soph, I'll get that pumpkin bread recipe up soon. I'm just going to post it because I've had so many requests for it. And, here's a belly shot from last Sunday, 29 weeks (courtesy of my Mom).
