the essence

Yesterday was a much better day. Ray's Mom gave him a ride to their meeting so I was able to take the car. Addison & I went out for about three hours running errands & it was so nice! I hit up Starbucks, Walmart (yuck!), Michaels, the gas station, the library, & surprised Charisse & her girls while they were getting lunch at Sonic. I also went into Publix & got some long awaited sushi. YUM! That was one big thing I was looking foroward to having again after I had the baby.

Anyway, I bought some more Christmas presents, I think most of my shopping is now done. I had so much fun taking Addison out though. I will admit its much easier running errands with a newborn than it is in the last few weeks of pregnancy (at least for me). I enjoyed not being huge, swollen & easily worn out. plus, its fun to watch peoples faces when they see such a tiny baby snuggled up in front of you.

Getting out was wonderful though. Charisse came over in the afternoon with the girls to visit for a bit & bring a cute outfit for the baby. I had planned to go to church last night but I hear there's something going around there right now so I didn't want to chance it just yet.

While Ray was gone I did make peanut butter blossoms & this morning I may finaly make those bourbon balls!
