the essence

Business has picked up for Ray! Yea! Of course, it picked up right around the time he agreed to paint a house for someone. A woman at his office has a huge house listed that needs some painting on the inside so it's a nice little side job for Ray this week. Well, not so little, it's a big task & he's gone all day.

Since we're still down to one car that leaves me & Addison at home, which really isn't that bad, I'm usually able to get out in the morning before he leaves anyway. Wednesday Ray mentioned that I could walk to Target to which I gave him the "yeah, right" look. But, I looked it up yesterday morning & it's only about a two-mile walk each way & 15 minutes a mile seems like a pretty good pace.

So, Addison & I set out for Walgreens which is right across the street from Target. I uploaded some photos to print out in order to work on Addison's scrapbook some more. After picking up the pictures at Walgreens we were so close to Target that I decided to walk there, too!

I used one of my handy dandy gift cards to get some coffee at the Starbucks inside of Target. Someone new made my drink & he used full fat milk istead of non fat so they gave me both but I only had to pay for one!!! Two of my "friends" were working & were quite excited to see the baby. I talked to them for a bit & then walked to the bakery where another Starbucks "friend" just transferred to for work. She also hadn't seen the baby yet so I talked to her & she gave me a free cookie!

Addison started to get fussy so I picked up the swaddle blanket for her, checked-out, & then nursed her in the restroom. I love how easy & flexible it is to nurse! After that I went back to the clothing department & picked up a cardigan that was on sale, I'm still trying to rebuild my wardrobe & I don't like to pay full-priice for stuff!

We started to head out when I ran into someone that I actually know in real life & we talked for a bit before I headed home. It took about 2.5 hours but it was nice to get out & great to get my work-out in at the same time!
