I had a very unsuccessful garage sale venture yesterday morning. For one, I got a very late start, but I actually had a chance to sleep in so I took it! Second, we live in a horrible area for garage sales, I'm sure I'd have done better if I'd driven more into "the city." Man, that makes it sounds like we live in the sticks. Which we kind of do but obviously it's not that bad if I can walk to Target/Starbucks/Walgreens/Marshalls, etc.

Shortly after I left Val called me (we'd been playing phone tag for weeks now, I believe) & we were able to chat for over an hour. I'm not sure if we talked much about anything besides babies. Her son, Shane, was born a little less than two months before Addison so we definitely had a lot of baby stuff to talk about! It was really nice to get to talk & it looks like we may actually get to visit the first weekend in April when she comes down! It's so weird going that long without seeing one of your best friends. The last time I saw her was when we were at camp over the summer.

Even though garage sales were a bust I did drive over to Ray's grandmother's to look at a little bookshelf & dresser she bought us for the baby at Goodwill. She still wants to buy us a nice dresser for her, but this should do for now. The only real problem is that it may be too big. The little shelves are nice though & I was thrilled to get those - I'd been wanting some for her room to start putting all of her books on. She also gave us several packs of diapers & a little hamper & lamp for Addison's room. So I still came home with some good stuff!

Last night I was finally able to finish two more scrapbook pages. I can't tell you how many times I have good intentions of working on it but then let's see, LIFE happens & there's no time. Even if sometimes "life" just means getting more sleep. :)
