You'll have to forgive my spelling errors when I post, I've become one of those people who almost always blog while nursing it seems.
I'm finally getting back into exercising - it's WONDERFUL!!! I did one of my old yoga routines on Saturday & it was so nice to be able to hold the positions the correct way without a huge belly inhibiting my movement. I was doing the same routine while pregnant but I really had to modify it. The plank is SO much easier without all of that excess weight hanging down from my middle but now when I do the shoulder pose I really see all of that excess skin on my belly - a good pose for motivation!
I also did the Kathy Smith Body Basics workout video for the first time ing a LONG time Monday. Well, I wasn't able to do all of it - with the changes in my body I need to go buy some more supportive workout wear before continuing.
This video is a really cheesy eighties video. My Mom did it when we were kids so it has the funky music, the bad bright tight clothes, and two fruity guys working out with the women. But it works! This is a fabulous video to get you into shape.
And, do I need to get into shape. Just doing some little exercises I could really feel it in my legs, which to me is so sad - that's usually the easiest/strongest part of my body & it was easily getting sore! Good thing I enjoy working out.
