the essence

I don't think I've mentioned this on here before, but Ray's step-sister had her twins the same day that I had Addison. I remember (after I'd already been in labor for about a day & a half) laboring on the air mattress that kept deflating & Ray telling me that Laura had her twins that day! They were born by c-section at 28 weeks & spent their first two months at the hospital. If they'd been born on their due date they'd only be about three weeks old right now!

Can you believe how tiny they are??? It's so hard to believe that they're the same age as Addison. When Addison was born she weighed about twice as much as their combined birth weights. They still sleep like newborns too - they were out like lights & nothing would wake them up! How cool is it that Ray's mom went from having zero grandkids to having three all in one day?!?
