the essence

I know, I know, I really need to update but I'm still in Orlando & I don't do much on the computer when I'm here. I was supposed to go home today but I found out that some missionary friends I grew up with are in town. I haven't seen them in five years so I' staying for church tomorrow so I can visit with them a bit.

I also got a hair cut while I was here! Renee, who has cut my hair since I was little, invited us over for desserts (cheesecake, bownies, German chocolate cake) & coffee shortly after I arrived on Thursday. We spent a couple of hours at her place & she gave me what I may classify as the best hair-cut I've ever had. She's very talented & knows what kind of cut will work for your face. I'm so in love with this hair cut, I don't have to do anything to it & it still looks fabulous! Thank you, Renee!!!

Yesterday Gram, Dick, Melissa, & her boys came over to visit & tonight Roger, Kim, & their kids came over. It's always nice when I actually get to see my extended family when I'm here.

Anyway, I'm pretty tired. Addison is cutting her fourth tooth so who knows if she'll wake up tonight or not - when she's getting a tooth she usually has one night when she doesn't sleep through the night. It's already 11 so I'm going to get to bed!
