I'm getting very excited about Addison's first birthday party. I fully admit it's a bit silly to throw a one-year-old a birthday party. They don't know what's going on & it's not that exciting for the adults. But I can't bring myself to not have a party for her this year.

More than being excited about the party I'm actually excited about the party planning. I love to throw a party: make the invitations, make the decorations, plan out the food, plan & make the favors, it's all so fun!

Really this first birthday party will be more for me than for Addison! I started making decorations this week. Here's a glimpse of one of the banners I made:
