Deep breath. Christmas is over.

I don't get stressed out about Christmas. I hear them talk about Holiday stress on the news but its non-existent for me. I love the decorating, cooking, baking, gift buying/wrapping/giving/getting, Christmas plays, parties, and everything else.

But, I must admit, the first half of this week I was definitely stressed & ended up completely exhausted. Between previously unknown last minute duties & the constant traveling (five places to visit, back to our home twice, and four cities in 24 hours) I ended up rather frazzled.

Christmas was still nice though & we were able to visit with a good deal of family & friends.

This is the tree at our first stop Christmas morning, Ray's grandmothers. Those were SOME of the presents.

Addison was exhausted as well. So tired that she just leaned her head over & zoned out with it resting on Ray's moms hand.

This is the tree at Ray's dads. It was very different from your typical tree because it will actually be planted on their land later.

Our fabulous lunch. We had homemade hummus, olives, salad, roast pork, black beans, yellow rice, roasted fruit with curry (so good!), garlic bread, and, for dessert, bananas foster. This smile I have on my face is the my-mouth-is-full-of-food-so-I-can't-show-my-teeth smile.

Addison had a lot of fun with one of Ray's dads' Jack Russells.

Last stop on Christmas day was my parents. We were greeted with yummy Hor’Dourves & Champagne.

Ray received one of his favorite childhood movies.

Addison loves to stand at the picture window at my parents house & watch the fountain outside.

The Christmas mess. This is what our living room looked like after we made it home the following day.
