I had a very nice New Year's. It was so low-key and relaxed with a delicious dinner of steak fajitas and all that it includes. We were at my parents house & it was wonderful to see John, Sarah, and Ethan, as well as their friend Tanya and her 7-year-old son Ryan (I hadn't seen Tanya and Ryan in about 6-7 years!!!).
There were many happy memories of Ellie and Sarah gave us this cute little stuffed bunny that had been Ellie's. Right before Ray and I left the next evening we all had a little memorial for Ellie. The slide show was on while some of Ellie's favorite songs were playing. She loved my parents house & my mom, Megan, & I each took a turn sprinkling some of her ashes under the palm trees she loved to play under in their backyard.
We cried buckets of tears that night but it was so nice to remember together.
