This week we have a group of 12 young men from around the country that we're hosting at our chapel. They're called Good News on The Move and they're focused on Christian Field Training, & this week they're evangelizing at different local areas (campus, YMCA, etc.). The men are all staying with different families from church. We weren't able to host any of them but Ray is one of them men from church who was in charge of organizing the event for us so he will be at church every night this week meeting with the guys.

I had to run errands in that areas last night so Addison & I dropped him off. Remember that Choxotica place I mentioned awhile ago? I'm on their e-mail list so they always have special deals they e-mail out each week. Yesterday it was a free cup of coffee. Since the place is right by the chapel I stopped in for a nice cup of free coffee to go with running my errands.

When I picked up Ray we were invited to Edgard & Aimee's house for dinner. They're hosting two of the guys from the group. It was Aimee's son's seventh birthday yesterday & he had chosen to ahve tacos for dinner, one of my favorites! I told him that when I was younger I always picked tacos for my birthday dinner, too.

The guys ended up being so nice & fun to talk to. One of them is from California & you know that Tide To Go commercial withe the drill sargeant? Well, he's good friends with the guy who uses the Tide pen in the commercial! I guess they used to be counselors together at a Christian camp & stuff.

It was a very fun evening. I love getting to hang out with my friends on short notice (Jen & her girls gave me & Addison a little surprise visit earlier in the day, too!).
