the essence

My mom & sister, Megan, crack me up. Megan is getting married (!) in my parents backyard this Saturday so wedding preparations have been in full force...or have they?

It seems many times when I've checked their blogs lately I read something along the lines of "today I was going to do such and such for the wedding...but I did instead!"

I find it funny because those two are so much alike, even in their blogging. But, in all seriousness, Megan did get a gorgeous ring last week & you have to see the hundreds of candy buttons that my mom is making for the wedding cake (which she is also making), & they're off to get flowers today.

I'll have to write more about the wedding later, I'm really looking forward to it!
