the essence

Caroline is here & it's a very short visit so I've barely had time to sit down at the computer. Pretty much we eat & shop.

We had delicious mochas to go with the scones I made for breakfast yesterday - it's ALL about the whipped cream.



And last night we went to the movies to see 27 dresses. I thought it was cute but it's been a year since I went to the theater (!) so I was just thrilled to be there. But, when did movies go up to $9?!?!? I couldn't get over the astronomical cost!

I did get to meet McDreamy while I was out




Today we were thinking of going to the beach or a spring or something but the forecast is calling for rain, rain, rain! We just may have to shop some more & go out for coffee.
