the essence

We made it safely to Kentucky on Saturday. I was going to post on Sunday but we've returned to the world of dial-up & I couldn't get blogger to load correctly.

Even with my grandfather being sick this has been such a nice visit so far. Just since we've been here my grandfather seems to be doing so much better. I think it helps that Ray makes him to some of the therapies that he's supposed to do but doesn't with just my grandmother around.

Addison loves it up here & constantly wants to go outside. The yard is huge & she has so much fun running around & playing on the swing set. She's totally a Florida girl though & it was hilarious to see her encounter a descending hill & just start to tumble!

It was a bit on the chilly side when we first arrived but it's already warming up nicely this morning. We have no concrete plans other than to visit my brother & his family on Thursday. I think he's coming over this evening, too. I finally got to meet my cute nephew. I'd say "little" but the boy is HUGE! He's 5.5 months old & weighs around 20 pounds! Addison totally loved him - I can't wait until they're old enough to play with each other!
