the essence

Yesterday was supposed to be so much fun; after church we were going to a friends house for lunch & then that evening we were going to another friends house for a BBQ/pool party.

Instead, I decided to develop a migraine Saturday night which stayed with me throughout Sunday & resulted in a tremendous amount of vomiting. Definitely not what I'd planned for the day.

Thankfully, Ray & Addison were still able to enjoy their time out which gave me the alone time I needed. I don't know what I would've done if I'd had to chase Addison around while feeling like that. Actually, I take that back, I probably would've called my mom to come over & take care of us.

Today I'm feeling much better, am eating again, & was able to get out alone while Addison took her nap. It is a bit disappointing not having plans today. I'd been wanting to have people over for a bbq but obviously that wasn't going to happen.

It's still a nice relaxing day!
