These are a modified version of this Martha Stewart project. I saw something simliar on a hostess blog & loved it! I found the branch in my backyard (yea for living on conservation!) & I used clear fishing line instead of floral wire to tie the tissue paper together & then tie the "blooms" to the branch. The branch fit perfectly into a wine bottle so I wrapped the bottle in brown ribbon. (can you tell the baby shower colors are brown & bright pink?)

to have for our cupcake tower. (yes, I'd already wrapped one of the boxes in the first picture) It's supposed to look like a tiered cake but I'm not convinced. I'm hoping it'll look okay with the cupcakes on it, it was very difficult to find boxes the right size!
