Two days before we left for camp we had our first prenatal appointment. A new midwife bought the birthing center right around the time I had Addison. She's from England & I love her! She lives just a couple of miles from our house which makes the home birth that much easier.

The next day we had Addison's check-up. Rather than toys in each room the doctor has a nice long mirror on the door. She figures it's much easier to keep clean than toys. Addison thought it was a great way to give herself hugs & kisses!




As for my belly, I'm showing much more quickly than last time. It's actually kind of nice to actually be able to tell I'm pregnant this early on. So, here's a belly comparison, first pregnancy and this pregnancy. The middle photo in both strips is because I try to keep my stomach muscles tight (it helps your abs & promots good posture!). That doesn't happen now so the third photo is more realistic.





Of course, by evening, my belly is a lot bigger. At least I can make it look a lot bigger & I look more like I did when I was six months along last time!
