the essence

Yesterday Kathryn, an old friend from camp, stopped by for lunch, coffee, & shopping! We hadn't seen each other in about a year.



About five minutes after Kathryn arrived my mom called to tell me she was five minutes from my house! Ray left last night to help out at camp for the rest of the week so I knew my mom was coming I just didn't know she'd be here so early! So, she joined us in our eating/coffee/shopping outing.

Addison enjoyed playing "night, night" on the sofa with my mom.




And last night, after nachos at Tijuana Flats, shopping at Ross, & putting Addison to bed, we had a girls night eating Ben & Jerry's & watching Juno. Who needs bowls when the ice cream is as good as Ben & Jerry's?
