the essence

Yesterday morning I made some scones & threw some of those little frozen quiche in the oven (I bought a big box in my first trimester because I thought I was craving them - I had a lot leftover).



On our way to the airport we stopped at Publix. This was Heather's first visit to Florida so she had to try a Publix sub which Matt has raved about since she met him. They are the best!



We got them to the airport in plenty of time & after dropping Matt & Heather off we drove to the top of the parking garage to watch the airplanes. Addison loves airplanes! As she watched one take-off she waved to it saying "bye bye."





I love airports. I remember when we were little we'd go & "surf" on the trams. It totally bums me out that you can't go to the terminals without a ticket now. I'm dying to fly somewhere again!
