I’m sure most all of us know of at least one military family. Some of us even were/are military families. I know when I was younger & my dad was in the Air Force he’d be gone, but at the longest for only several months at a time. I couldn’t imagine him being gone for nearly a year, especially over the holidays.

The Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry is a program designed by Sears to help out military families during the holidays. As of this year, Sears has expanded the program so that anyone can go online and donate to the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. The donations will be passed out equally to military families through Sears gift cards. You can even view the top 100 Wishes made by military families for gifts this year. Number one? Kids’ shoes. I’m sure it wouldn’t take a large donation to enable a family to buy shoes for their children.
