the essence

Our baby girl arrived this morning at 12:29am!!! She was born at home, in our tub, & it went wonderfully. A lot more pictures of the birth can be seen here.

Right after she was born - I don't look like death this time!



Labor was so much quicker than with Addison - only 7 hours & 15 minutes! This little girl is so tiny, too! She only weighed in at 7lbs. 3.5oz. & was 21 inches long.

She doesn't have a name yet but she should by day's end. Addison has yet to meet her, she slept through the entire thing. I can't wait to see her reaction to her new sister!
