When I stopped by Rays' grandmothers' garage sale on Saturday she had these 3 funky green glasses & I loved them! I'm sure his grandmother & mom probably thought I was a bit crazy for wanting them but I just knew they'd be great for decorating my house.
Plus, when I was kid we had these same glasses only they were clear. When I told my mom about them she said she bought ours at a garage sale because they were just like the green ones she had growing up! She loved my idea to turn them into candle holders.
Did you notice the lamp in the background? I don't know if I'll keep it there, but I must have it on display!
Ray brought it home from his other grandmothers house. His great-grandfather was a captain or something in the merchant marines & lived in Africa & this was his desk lamp. Ray & I are both very excited about it & he wants to rewire it to get it working again.
