the essence

Now that we're working at home Ray & I are working at different times. So, while one works the other takes care of the kids/house. Yesterday Addison was napping but Kate was up & Ray wanted to know, "What do I do with her?"

Meaning, do I just leave her in her bouncy chair or do something else?

I told him I let Kate play on her mat & that I also read to the girls. He wanted to read his financial book & didn't think it would matter to Kate what he read to her.



She looks about as confused (& bored) as I do. But, maybe she'll grow up to be on Wall Street and buy mommy & daddy a nice fancy home.
