Ray has Addison at the pool and Kate has just now gone down to bed for the night (I think). I know it's early, but the poor girl hasn't slept much & she's been having a rough time with teething.
So, with the house virtually to myself for the first time in...awhile...I'm not sure what I should do. Sit & relax with something to read & something yummy to drink or clean-up a bit. I actually feel like I may have enough energy AND motivation to get some cleaning done, but I'm afraid if I don't take advantage of some time to sit & rest that I'll greatly regret it later.
Ray and I officially graduated from our training last night but we still have to go onsite for our first real week of strictly taking calls. After next Friday we'll be working from home.
We had to create our schedules on Thursday night. We get to build our own schedules on a week-by-week basis but there are certain guidelines we have to follow. We were hired for the 6pm-midnight shift so at least 12 of our hours each week must be in that time frame (with a minimum of 20 hours a week - this is for each of us, too). We also have to work at least 16 weekend hours a month. Unfortunately, by the time Ray & I were allowed to create our first schedules, there weren't the best hours left. So, I'll be working our first Sunday afternoon home (which means we'll probably miss the potluck), Ray's going to be working 6-12 on our anniversary night & he has to work Wednesday night which means missing church.
It's not awful but we're hoping now that we're at home we can get on the computer as soon as the schedules are released & sign-up for our hours.
