Okay, not a jet plane, but I am driving Addison to meet up with my parents tomorrow so that she can go stay with them for a couple of days.
I'm so excited.
Actually, excited is probably an understatement.
For about two weeks now I've been anticipating Addison's visit with my parents so that I can get just a little break. She's a lot of work right now & just very trying & she is completely wearing me out. I just need a little regrouping time & I hope to get that in the next couple of days.
Kate will still be here, of course, but how difficult is an 8-month-old after the whirlwind that is the power of a 2.5-year-old?
Some of my "grand plans" for the next two days will be a chiropractic appointment (my back is getting progressively worse with this job, I'm having a difficult time making myself sit properly 10-12 hours a day), IKEA, Joann Fabrics and lots of sewing to go along with my last 3 hours of phone work for the week & 7 more piano lessons.
I've been hording some of my craigslist money specifically for a trip ALONE to IKEA. It was difficult to really enjoy with the kids so Ray is going to watch Kate on Thursday while I go out completely alone to spend some money!
The IKEA catalog has been a bit of a fixture on the kitchen table lately with the list of items I want to look at growing...
I'm not excited or anything. Really.
After all of my piano lessons are finished on Friday the rest of us will be driving to my parents in Orlando for a weekend visit - I haven't been there in 3 months! I'm sure many pictures will follow (plus a later post as to why I want to get a lot of sewing in this week...)
