All week I've been battling something. I've kept it at bay, I think partly because of all of the garlicky Greek food I made last weekend & have been eating this week!
This afternoon, it was like Addison was hit by a truck. She'd been doing well all morning & then her fever shot up to the 102 range & she became quite lethargic. I had pity on her & fed her things like ice cream and popsicles and let her lay down & watch tv most of the afternoon.
This picture just makes me so sad! I hate when my kids are sick. (FYI-that's just a fake tattoo on her arm)
Later on she retreated to the front room & fell asleep on the floor in there.
Kate is still doing well & is happy as a clam. I hope she stays that way!
Here's to a weekend of rest & healing.

Oh no! Hope she feels better real soon! You're right, there's nothing worse than seeing your kiddies sick & knowing there's not much you can do to make them feel better. Saying prayers for you all :)
