The first morning we were at Ruth & Ernie's I took a pregnancy test. I was a couple of days late but when a line didn't immediately appear I had a bit of a sigh of relief. I started brushing my teeth & looked at the test again & thought, "Oh no!" Not a bad oh no, more of a no-way-I-can't-believe-it!

For once we weren't "trying" & I was in a bit of shock our entire vacation.

In fact, I was having such a hard time believing that I was actually pregnant that I took another test the day we got home. Apparently being 2.5 weeks late & getting one positive test wasn't enough. When the test line showed up faster than the control line it felt much more real. I haven't been as sick this time either, which I think has contributed to the disbelief.

Planned or not, I'm very excited!

Hi! I've never commented but Ive been reading your blog since you were pregnant with Addison (I think your blog was on some pregnancy blog roll thing, I can't remember). Anyways, just wanted to say congratulations! My first was born same time as Addison and my second is only 3 months old. I've always wanted three kids, so I will be anxious to read about your experiences. Very exciting!

Congratulations, Jessica! From two to three is a smaller jump than from one to two, in my opinion.
So excited for you!

Meanwhile, I was a little shocked to see your comment on my page because I thought I had posted that last entry as private (due to my nervousness)... we are not telling folks till after that scan...

How old will your youngest be when new bubs arrives?

Congrats! That is so exciting! I've always thought it would be interesting to not "try" to get pregnant and be surprised like that!

(On a side note, we just found out a week ago that I'm pregnant with our 2nd!)
