That's right, we're in Littleton, NH right now & it's snowing! Not a hard snow, not even enough to stick to the ground, but a light, soft snow. We're planning to drive Mt. Washington today & that's where the high is 19 degrees. We do not have clothes for this kind of weather so we will be in the car for that drive.
Our visit with Ruth & Ernie came to a too-quick-end on Saturday night after lots of of fun shopping, watching movies, drinking coffee & eating. Ernie introduced us to a Mexican restaurant so authentic that they don't believe in things like cheese & sour cream - they had some of the best tacos, though!
I was able to make a coveted trip to Trader Joes, where I was shocked by the amazing prices!
Our first night away from our friends we drove & drove to CT. The next day we visited the beautiful mansions in Newport, RI & then drove to a suburb of Boston, took the T into the city & stayed the night in one of our free hotels. Ray & I absolutely love Boston. We can both envision ourselves living there. We spent yesterday morning walking around the city & reminiscing about when we honeymooned there.
Last night we drove through some of Maine & ended here in NH. Tonight we're supposed to stay somewhere in Vermont!
