However, the car we're driving (we borrowed Rays' dads') has started acting up & spent the day in the shop. They won't be able to get to it until Tuesday, so it looks like we'll be spending the rest of our vacation with our friends doing fun things like this!
We drove several mountain ranges on this trip, as was Ray's wish, stopping along the way in Vermont at a little country store:
This was...somewhere. Maybe upsate New York (which was BEAUTIFUL) or Vermont again.
Kate loves the tv & will twist & turn any possible way to see it, even if it does mean eating a little slower.
Even though it was cold out I rolled my window down for a bit - Addison loved it! She had the best time with the cold air blowing on her while we drove down the interstate.
So, that's what we've been up to for the past couple of days. I'm not too disappointed about altering the rest of our trip, I'm so exhausted driving from place to place that it will be nice to stay & I always enjoy spending time with friends!

The picture of them standing at the window together and the one of Addison with her face full of joy made got me choked up. I miss my 3 sweet girls.....and Ray. Yeah, I miss him too...but not like the girls.
The photo of Addison in the car is just gorgeous. I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday - I think staying in one place for a while will be much more relaxing.
I'm just super impressed that you managed such an intense holiday with your little girls. We tried to go away for a weekend with our 18-month-old and it was STRESSFUL! I applaude you guys! :)
