I felt the urge coming on for days. My hair was getting long & driving me crazy & hadn't been cut since January 21 (8 months). Everything inside said "don't do it," but I knew eventually I would cave. Sure enough, about two weeks ago I grabbed a pair of kitchen scissors, pulled my hair into a ponytail, & cut. This was after round one:
Round one because I didn't want to go too short and totally mess up & regret it. Ray didn't notice and some of my friends didn't notice. So, I did round two & went a little shorter. Later, I went for round three & had Ray straighten the bottom of the ponytail. Round 4 came when my mom came & just got some of the strays.
I went to church after round three of the hair cut & got some compliments on it. The big test was my mom. I didn't tell her I cut my hair but she noticed & really liked it - she thought I had a salon cut it for me!
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of said cut & it really doesn't look that different in the front from how it was styled before, just a smidge shorter. I'm still too afraid to take it too short myself!
