Birthday Baby

My prenatal appointment last week went fine & completely uneventful. It was really just a lot of paperwork & blood work. Being my third time there I really wish I could just reuse all of the old papers they have on file! (One thing I do love about this being my third time there is walking into the office & receiving hugs from the staff - it's such a nice welcome!) I had the girls with me too, at lunch/nap time, & they were very well behaved but it still made the paperwork process much longer.

They asked if I wanted to find the heartbeat yet, but only being 10 weeks I knew it would be a long shot on hearing it & Ray wasn't with me & I figured he'd like to hear it too for the first time. So, I'm just supposed to give them a call the day I want to go over & we'll try to find the heartbeat! I'll be 12 weeks next week so I'm looking forward to that meeting!

We also calculated my estimated due date while I was there. We went off the more accurate date of conception which was Ray's birthday and that gives me my due date of my birthday!!! How crazy is that?!? I mean, it's basic math so I wasn't oblivious to the fact that mine & Ray's birthdays are almost 3 months apart, I guess I just never thought about what that meant when it came to having a baby!

I was a little bummed at the idea of potentially having a baby on my birthday, but I like having my birthday! I don't care how old you get I still think birthdays are fun! Ray couldn't believe I was serious about that. However, I also think it would be pretty cool to share a birthday with one of my kids.

I know it's very unlikely, though. Both of my other pregnancies, when dated from conception, were due on a Sunday. I had Addison the Thursday night before at 10:07pm, and I had Kate the Friday morning before the due date at 12:29am. So, going by that this baby is more likely to be due on June 15/16 rather than the 18th! I can't wait to see what happens!
