Work, work, work

Neither Ray nor I have to work today! We're supposed to but instead we're going onside for four days this week for some training. We both have been hired for a different type of job. We'll still be making reservations but instead of answering calls from random people we'll be taking calls from our "frequent guests" who want to use their "points" to book free stays. There are two reasons/benefits for us to take this position:

1. We no longer have to be concerned about our conversion, or our ratio of calls received versus rooms booked

2. We get a slight pay increase (yay!)

3. We'll hopefully also have less frustrating shopping around calls. But, even if we do, it won't matter now because our conversion will no longer matter!

Our training will be Monday-Thursday this week from 3:30pm-midnight. (I wonder who picks these training times) The bad things is that after having attended two of their training sessions I know that most of the information can be given in the first day or two. The thing that really helps is that Ray & I get to go together! That makes it so much more bearable.
