There was a secret at Red Chair Confessions, a secret advertiser that is. The time has finally come for the big reveal and it turns out that the secret advertiser was Talbots. I had no idea who the advertiser was. Honestly, the image of Red Chair Confessions seemed much more chic and hip than the image that I had in my mind of Talbots. And, that's part of the point. Talbots is changing their image so that they don't come across as a "mom store" but instead a place of modern fashionable (and affordable!) clothing.



I just love this wrap dress that they have right now, it's so slimming! (Not that anything is really going to be very "slimming" on me right now!)

I think that Talbots has some wonderful marketing going on through their Red Chair Confessions blog. One of my favorite parts are the "spotted" posts. I love the concept of finding everyday fashionable women and it's fun to see the outfits they have put together! It also kind of makes me want to go shopping, which probably part of the point. Another good point: you don't need a stylist to be fashionable, just a few basic and not too trendy pieces to pull an outfit together.
