Family Room Makeover

The family room has been transformed...





I was so excited to make these changes, so the room would be more "me." I inadvertently changed the colors to be similar to how I just decorated the guest bathroom. Oh well, I still like it.

I'd desperately love a new sofa & love seat. For now, a slip cover I bought for free with a gift card does the trick for the sofa. The pillows were an easy change - easily removable covers that I made out of fabric from Joann fabrics. El cheapo IKEA mirrors. A change to decor with items already on hand. And, more black frames. Plus, the H I painted white & hung with the frames. I also pulled the plant holders down from never never land so that they would be more on eye level. When I hung those things years ago I was unaware that items should be hung on your wall at approximately eye level. Once I learned that I began noticing when things weren't placed on the wall at eye level & these planters were driving me crazy.

Now, to tackle the beast of a bare wall across from the sofa.
