This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association) promotes equipment and safe driving for the disabled and they are the only association who does so. The members of NMEDA are the dealers who sell cars for the handicapped and make vehicle modifications.

No two people have the exact same disability and because of that a personalized "in-person" evaluation takes place to determine what are your customized vehicle needs.

On top of dealers, NMEDA also has a specific quality assurance program and it's the only such program in the US that is accredited for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. They want to make sure the customers are consistently satisfied so their approach to quality is systematic and adopted. They provide 24-hour customer service, they maintain records of all of the adaptive work that takes place on the vehicle, and they undergo yearly auditing by and independent firm, among other benefits.

I was surprised to find such a large number of NMEDA dealers within a fifty mile radius of my zip code. It's encouraging to see so many qualified dealers around here. Go to their site & type in your zip - feel free to let me know if you have any dealers close by.

wow - a sponsored post that i am SUPPER interested in! I want Ruthie to be able to drive when she's old enough - but i was worried about her legs and the response time. With an adapted car she'd be all set!
