I &hearts Retail Therapy

It's been one of those days. Well, so far, one of those weeks & I needed to get out. Ray was on for work tonight so after the kids fell asleep I headed out to the mall! (I should mention that I also &hearts ebay & their free listing fees! Making my retail therapy possible.)

I was able to go into Pottery Barn for the first time in awhile & found some amazing clearance items. Amazing. For example, this beautiful velvet Christmas tree skirt. Originally $89.00. I bought it for $9!!! I bought the three boxoes of faux cranberries & two boxes of decorative glass stars for $1.37 a box. (Originally $14 a box) Seriously amazing deals! Which, in my opinion, makes shopping all that much better.

After shopping I went to Barnes & Noble & settled in with a bit of coffee & reading before heading home. It was an excellent rejuvenating break, which, I trust will provide a little lift for the rest of the week.

Love the tree skirt! Our Pottery Barn NEVER has sales like that.

Hi, random fan here! Love your (DAILY!) posts and reading about your life. (: Since I am a random stranger and don't know much about your life.. I was wondering if you and your husband worked from home? I noticed that you'll go to Barnes & Noble or, like this post, shopping, after the kids are in bed. Are you just comfortable enough to leave them at home without your husband, or is he actually working at home?

Mom, I definitely thought of you while I was shopping, wishing you were with me!

Hello random fan - yes, we have part-time jobs from home. I would never feel comfortable leaving such young ones alone at home, even if they were sleeping!

Thanks for the comment!

what amazes me is that people actually pay 90 bucks (more than my weekly grocery bill) for a tree skirt. it is a beautiful tree skirt and i would say that for 9 bucks the price was right.
