the essence

This week my dad started a job only thirty minutes away from us so the kids & I drove over & met him for lunch today. It was so nice! We went to Olive Garden & I had a feast (I tried one of their paninis, it was quite good!). The kids loved getting to see my dad, but, I'm pretty sure that he's glad he gets to eat his dinners out alone!

I also failed to get any photos while we were out. I had wonderful intentions to do so & even brought my camera but completely forgot.

So, instead, I'll show you the last sewing project I completed. In case you haven't figured it out all of the little girls we know are receiving little aprons for their birthday.
