Yesterday I received two fun packages in the mail. I was just opening the first one when my doorbell rang again! For the life of me I couldn't think of what could be in a box marked perishable.
I also finally discovered the mystery of sending perishable items in the mail. Cool refrigerated wrapping with a couple of large "colder than ice" ice packs inside.
Discovery! I forgot that I'd accepted an offer to try a new product from Kraft. These fun little snack bars, Kraft MilkBite, are new and available in the refrigerated section at the grocery store.
I was sent two boxes of Milkbite, a strawberry and chocolate. (They also offer mixed berry, peanut butter and oatmeal raisin)
The verdict: my kids love them. In fact, they kept sneaking into the fridge to get more so I've had to ban them from the privilege of eating a MilkBite for a bit!
The whole refrigerator thing is kind of interesting - these are soft granola type bars which actually contain milk (hence the refrigeration) and as much calcium as a glass of milk.
I ate a chocolate MilkBite tonight and it was a tasty little treat!

Good to know! I have been curious about those.
I have only tried the peanut butter ones and they are delish!
